Java training and Cali fun
Dude, I’m totally blogging from Java training class. No, I’m not slacking… there’s just a bit of downtime. Really.
Last night was the Giants game at the AT&T Park, right on the San Francisco Bay. It was my first major league game! It’s too bad that Bonds didn’t homer and that I didn’t eat a hot dog, but it was still a pretty awesome experience nonetheless. The views of the water and just getting to see the park and the area around it were cool. We had planned on taking the CalTrain up to the city from San Jose, but my class got out early and we ended up driving. The traffic wasn’t bad at all (there were a couple of slow spots), and we got super lucky with parking. Guess it all works out in the end!
Than bought HPDH yesterday. He’s started reading it already, and he won’t let me start it until I finish my current book (Xenocide by Orson Scott Card)! I’m almost done with that, thankfully. Argh………..
