Fun Fun Fun
So the crazy weekend is under way. Last night I saw the Shout Out Louds at the Parish, plus a glimpse from the outside of a few songs of Cracker at the Mohawk. Today and tomorrow = the FunFunFun Fest at Waterloo Park. I’m super excited - New Pornographers, Of Montreal, Cat Power… and many many others. Oh yeah, and funnel cakes! Last year it was just one day and a month later, so much colder. The weather is gorgeous in Austin now - should be a great couple of days of music.
In addition to that, I’m running in the Race for the Cure 5K tomorrow morning. If this weekend causes a burn-out, my guess is this will be the main catalyst since it involves waking and getting up really early (8AM race start). Especially since today I woke up at 1:30pm! I’m still really tired, too… definitely planning on a LONG nap after the race and before day 2 of FFF.
UVA’s currently up 17-16 over Wake with 2min left. Every game this season has been super close. At least we’re at home. It may be a good thing I can’t see these games in TX - I’m already cutting years off my life with my lack of sleep… sports stress is definitely NOT needed!
