I finally got a bike!
After months and months (well, arguably years) of talking about getting a bike, I can finally say that I’m not all talk. Last night I hit up Sun & Ski and bought myself a Marin Kentfield FS hybrid:
I haven’t had a chance to ride it yet (except for the few minutes I rode it around the parking lot yesterday), but hopefully it’ll become my main transportation option soon. I’m super excited that I’ll get to bike to work, ultimate practices and games, ACL, etc. etc. Yay!
Nevermind the fact that I’ve only ridden a bike three times in the past 20 years and that I’m still scared to death of the thought of sharing the road with cars… but I’ll get over it. :)
