Berlin was one of our favorite stops, mostly because of its recent history and how the city is still re-establishing itself since WWII and the Berlin Wall. We took a "free" walking tour with a very-animated guide, ventured to the 1932 Olympic stadium (where they were prepping for the World Cup), explored the museums, and let it all soak in.
