Rome was awesome... and just plain overwhelming. The amount of history and the grandness of the sights completely blew me away. The Coliseum, the Pantheon (after which Thomas Jefferson modeled UVA's Rotunda), Vatican City, the Trevi Fountain... We spent six days here, one of our longest stays of the trip, and it wasn't NEARLY enough to see everything we wanted to see. Guess we'll have to go back!
