We drove straight from Charleston to St. Augustine, where we ate pizza and walked around for an hour or two. Finding lodging there proved to be extremely difficult though, so we drove down toward Daytona and ended up staying in a pretty... let's say crappy hotel. But it was cool - we got to see the national monument Castillo de San Marcos, albeit in the dark!
