I ran in my very first race at the 30th annual Statesman Capitol 10K. I finished with a time of 57 minutes, which was better than my initial goal of 1 hour, but more than my aggressive goal of 55 minutes. All good though - it's amazing that I even finished, considering that, with a little less than two miles to go, I thought (for some crazy, unknown reason) there was only 1 mile left!
