Our first SXSW experience, and it was a blast. I managed to catch two full days of FREE music, including the Twilight Sad, Apples In Stereo, Tift Merritt, Billy Joe Shaver, the Riverboat Gamblers, and What Made Milwaukee Famous. Highlights: Riverboat Gamblers' lead singer running through the crowds (and right in front of me) and climbing stuff; being within arms' reach of Billy Joe Shaver and WMMF; and getting my first setlist (WMMF).
