On February 12, 2002, UNC visited U-Hall for the annual showdown between the Cavs and the Heels. It wasn't quite as heart-stopping and fantastic as the previous year's Valentine's Day win over Duke, but it was still a win, and it secured a sweep over the Tar Heels (they had beaten them in Chapel Hil earlier in the season already, 71-67).
