Albums from the year 2003

Rachel's 21st Birthday9 photos · Taken December 14, 2003Rachel turned 21 for the 2nd time on December 15th, 2003. I say 2nd time because she's British, and over there the Brits have their "21st" when they are 18. Lucky bastards.

Guster in Sayreville, NJ16 photos · Taken December 12, 2003On December 13th, 2003, I got two free tickets to a Guster concert in Sayreville, New Jersey. So Rachel and I made the trip up there and stayed with Scott @ Rutgers and had a jolly time with Guster and the accompanying snow.

Continental Tire Bowl14 photos · Taken November 30, 2003UVA played Pittsburgh in the Continental Tire Bowl in Charlotte, NC in late December of 2003. I headed down there with a dozen or so guys, including fellow sportsnut Haresh, to explore Charlotte's nights and see UVA kick some ass.

GT @ UVA Football8 photos · Taken November 22, 2003Some snapshots from the Georgia Tech football game on November 22, 2003, plus some aftermath.

New Orleans7 photos · Taken November 5, 2003Early November of 2003, a few of us from the Condron Lab hit up the huge Neuroscience Conference in New Orleans. Needless to say, the actual conference was a only a tiny glimpse of what New Orleans and our trip had to offer. You ca'nt beat drive-through daiquiri shops.

Graduation7 photos · Taken May 18, 2003On May 18th, 2003, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS/BA in Biochemistry and Biology. It was a memorable day - not because of the obvious, but because it was extremely cold and rainy, I had no umbrella, and I still made it over the entire Lawn.

Misc. Fourth Year30 photos · Taken April 30, 2003A collection of random pictures from my fourth and final year as an undergrad at UVA.

aKDPhi Spring Formal34 photos · Taken April 28, 2003A plethora of photos from UVA aKDPhi's very first formal, which was held at the Omni in Charlottesville.

UVA @ Duke10 photos · Taken January 14, 2003In mid-January of 2003, I drove four hours alone in heavy snow in the middle of the night to Durham, NC to catch the UVA vs. Duke showdown on January 15. Pretending to be a Duke student, I waited in line for a wristband at 8AM, took a nap, went back in line at 4pm for the game which tipped-off at 7pm. I was right there in the middle of the Cameron Crazies, sporting a UVA shirt. The team put up a hard fight, but in the end couldn't hold on. I then chilled in Durham and Chapel Hill for a few more days (missing the first week of the semester, woo!) before heading back to Ch-ville.

Spurs @ Wizards NBA Game19 photos · Taken January 1, 2003On the eve of 2003, I attended my very first NBA game at the MCI Center thanks to a special friend. The San Antonio Spurs came into the nation's capitol to take on the Washington Wizards. My seats were like three rows up from the floor, right behind the Spurs' bench. It was great - lots of close up pictures of some great players - Tim Duncan, Steve Smith, David Robinson, and of course, Michael Jordan. Oh yeah, there was a brief concert by Mario afterwards before the countodwn to the new year.
