New job, San Fran, ACL, and my pull-up count is now at…

Its been awhile, so a few recaps:

  • New gig: a couple of weeks ago I started a new job as an Interface Engineer for Involver, a small a start-up based out of San Francisco. I’ll miss my colleagues at Pluck / Demand Media, but it was an exciting opportunity I couldn’t miss!

  • Four consecutive days of climbing / running / pull-ups

    I climbed four days in a row over the weekend. Went to the climbing gym Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Though Friday and Saturday’s sessions were lighter sessions, my arms, hands, and fingers are definitely feeling it today. Not too sore, just tired. But in a good way.

    Yesterday I also went running outside on the trail for the first time in awhile (a week or so) and it was hard. I went in the morning to avoid the brutal heat, though it was still pretty hot at 8AM. I went 6+ miles at a slow pace, and I’m just glad I…

    Two-a-days might become a more regular thing

    I’ve done two-a-days before. Probably not like how real athletes do two-a-days, but more along the lines of going to the gym in the morning or lunch and for a mix of cardio and core, and then doing something else later (like running or ultimate or climbing), or vice versa. This would happen maybe once or twice a month… some months.

    So yesterday was my first “real” two-a-day. During lunch I went to the gym and did 30 minutes of semi-light cardio on the arc trainer and my usual core workout (100 slow sit-ups on the exercise ball + back and…
